I will never marry, I may flirt, but I will never give up my Tudor name.
There were many men who wanted to marry me, and England. I never could risk losing the Tudor name in my lifetime so I am married to my people.

Early into my adult life, Thomas Seymour's eyes wandered in my direction even though he was my guardian and married to Queen Dowager Katherine Parr. He persisted but I fought off his advances to remain pure for my people.

The Admiral
By Henry Tudor
Never went to sea, to see
Never worked, lived for free
The admiral’s a fake, no mistake
Left many a heart broken in his wake.

His brother Ed’ much cleverer, ruled instead
Push him aside, to the side of the bed
Go and be the King’s navy man
Do the best for the King, that you can.

Poor Jane died young, though the Queen
Her son, the Prince now seldom seen
The Seymour’s now run the whole
But Edward’s at the front of the bowl.

The Admiral, jealous of his power
Tried to grasp, and ended up in the Tower
He died on old Tower hill
His death forlorn women mourn still.

So dear lady’s out there drying your eyes
Thomas Seymour’s a villain not wise
You hanker for fun and fear
But Seymour was not worth a tear.

He married the widow Queen in distress
He tried to woo the Princess Bess
He wondered about trying ex Queen Anne
No Royal lady was safe from this man.

His hunger for power caught his guard
For now he kneels in the yard
His brother has given him up
No more drinks from the Seymour cup.

Can you name any of these Suitors?
Robert Dudley and Walter Raleigh are the easy ones.
